    that’s an important heads-up on the VIX. funny i don’t hear much about it over the last couple of days at the chat sites. my guess: that is because most/many are still bearish and/or short.

    Well, some people must start to appreciate Chris’ work more. The (second hand) SC book went from ~$15 to ~$59 in 3 months.

    Historical trivia

    Heard Friday was the anniversary of the “War of the Worlds” broadcast that caused such collective panic in 1938.

    Went to investigate if this happened during the dark days but unfortunately the panic window that year was a few days earlier. Would have been a nice piece of trivia. All the same, imagine what would have happened had it actually been broadcast on Oct 23rd that year !!
