It seems the Solunar model previous low was about 2 weeks earlier than the Dow. Can this impact the timing of the next point which is a high?

Chris, from your last chart, tidal change seemed to be for April 10 (Tomorrow), Does the solunar turn falls on next Wed? It kind of looks sooner. The option expiry week tends to flip direction the latest by Tuesday of that week. This week we seem to have gone bouncing from the top of the BB to mid BB on XLF and other financial (I look at them as the lead under current situation). And today we kind of bounced up from the mid BB. Tomorrow might be key for the next four or five days short term direction. Will it go back up and touch the top by next Tuesday? Or hang around here up and down or break down to test the lower BB? VIX broke below 40 today and bounced off the lower BB; For a possible double bottom. But closed somewhat low, indicating more strength in the market. The Financials looked weak relative to the market today, and that kind of still points to further down action for now, but that could change tomorrow.

Remember we’re looking at very light volume Thursday 4/9 due to Passover and the market being closed 4/10 for Good Friday. Only trades I’m planning are off-the-market options bids and asks, on the chance that the reduced liquidity causes a price hit away from value.

Flip side is some serious action Monday 4/13 and probably even more Tuesday as Europe gets back to work.

I’m planning on staying long right into the 17th and going short on the close. No idea if reality will cooperate but that’s how I’m playing it.

You have kept up with the recent lashings of this market very well, and now you give us one more week up. With a 3-day holiday, that’s not much. Good to know there’s weakness ahead.
