I just joined right at the time I posted this. I searched my name and username also and came up empty. I registered as chris carolan username spiralcal. Regarding email - the software folks who built the membership module are coming out with an email utility that will integrate. But they don't have it working at this point in time. I'm okay with adding it eventually, but I needed to get something up and running now. The twitter advantage is you can get them in text format on your phone. Also - you need not follow anyone you don't want to, so it need not be intrusive in your life. Very unlike facebook etc. I suspect it takes them time to update their database.
